~20th REUNION THIS WEEKEND!!!~

I can't believe 20 years has past so quickly! WHHS class of 1988. It seems like yesterday Laura and I skipped yearbook drove to Lexington to T.J. Cinnamon just to get cinnamon rolls. HAHA! So many good memories, it will be great to see everyone. I got my camera back yesterday and will be taking pictures all weekend. I plan on posting them on a shutterfly account if anyone wants to buy pictures of your long lost friends. I can't wait to see everyone!

Murphy's called and my camera is fixed!! So I will pick it up soon and then I can start posting pictures again. It has been gone so long I hope I still know how to take a picture. HAHA! I am starting my portfolio and ordering new business cards. Then it is time to push my business! Wish me luck!

~A LONG TIME AWAY~

I last posted in April and apologized for the lack of posting and here it is July nd I am doing it again. My life has taken a new path and getting ajusted to it has been slow. It will be for the better, it will just take some getting use to. Anywho back to photography.... I have sent my camera to Canon for an over haul and will be getting it back in early August. I have the whole month of July to figure out my game plan.. I have decide that my niche will be maternity and newborns. I am getting a portfolio together, business cards and a website. I think I will team up with Shutterfly. So if anyone who visits my blog and is due in mid-August I'll be ready! I hope :)

~OOPS!!~

I can't believe it has been 2 months since I last posted! I am sorry. So much has been going on in my life the last couple of months that my blog fell to the side. My camera is on the fritz. The automatic focus is not working properly and I am trying to decide if it is worth sending to Canon for them to fix or just get a new camera. DUH! I guess when I get my refund from the government I will make my decision. I have placed business cards and a picture from little Ms Adison's photo shoot at my sisters work. She works at the local OB/GYN office. I am hoping to get some leads from that. I will try not to take so long in between posts. Have a great day!

~Little Adison 1st photo shoot~

Last weekend I went to Michelle's to take pictures of Adison. Here is what came out. I think for the most part they are good but not as good as I would like. I only sharpened and changed to black and white. No photoshop. More to come!

~Not running in the mini~

I was a little upset after the informational meeting Saturday for the mini marathon in April. It is benefitting the Leukemia Lymphoma Socitey and I knew raising money was going to be part of it. They wanted you to commit to raising $2000 for them. That doesn't sound bad, I could do that BUT if you didn't raise all of it, you had to come up with the difference out of pocket and I didn't want the pressure. So I will find another race to run in and let you all know about it.

~Leukemia Society~

Hi Everybody, I have decided to run a mini marathon (13.2 miles). I know some of you are calling me crazy. It is for a wonderful cause and I just feel lead to do it. I ran some 5K's this summer and after not running for the past six months I decided to do this. HAHA! I haven't been to a meeting yet, there is one this weekend and on the 26th. I will have more details after that. Wish me luck!

~ Just thoughts~

I think I will post my thoughts, whether I have pictures to post or not. Adison was born 5 days ago and already she has changed so much. I still want to do some professional looking pictures, hopefully this weekend. I took some of her last night and will post those later. Every Wednesday we have dinner at my moms and we took a couple of her. My sister said she posted the picture I have on here of her hand and someone thought it was inapporiate(I can't spell). I am assuming the person thought that there was a breast in the picture. Well it isn't! It is little Adison's face and shoulder. Anywho~ I hope everyone has a great day!

~Adison Paige Paul~

Here she is...Adison Paige Paul born 01-03-08 at 1410. She weighed 8.9 lbs and is 20.5 in long. Welcome to the world. I got to be in the delivery room while she was being born and I have to say that was the best thing I have ever experienced. Sorry if the pictures are not focused on some. I couldn't tell for all the tears. Many more posts to come about her and her big sister, Breanna

~Tiling the shower~

One day I went into the bathroom and said, "You know one day I think we should tile the shower in here". Before I knew it we were demoing the old shower and going to Lowe's to look at new tile. Gary did all the tile and then my job was to put the surround together. I don't know who had the easier job. I looks great. Note to self... Next time buy a tile soap holder.

Christmas Cookies

Katie and I made Christmas cookies this year. We had so much fun coloring the icing. She is quite the little baker.
